People who had stronger emotional bonds with their families as children may also fare better and more stable in marital relationships.<\/p><p>Negative experiences: Adverse childhood experiences may lead to low self-esteem, anxiety and psychological problems in some people. These experiences can negatively impact marital relationships and interactions.<\/p><p>Communication Skills: Childhood can be influential in forming people\u2019s ability to communicate. Children who learn positive relationship skills in childhood may have better skills in marital relationships.<\/p><p>Expectations from this relationship: Experiences and perceptions formed during childhood can influence expectations of relationships and marriage. Individuals who had positive experiences of family and human relationships as children may have more positive expectations for their relationships.<\/p><p>Finally, it should be noted that each person is uniquely influenced by childhood upbringing and experiences.
